I tell people I lived my life backwards -:). I got married in 1969, raised 4 children in Charleston, my husband passed away in 1989. I married a Navy guy in 1993 who was assigned to submarine duty and also a private pilot with an airplane. I then went back to school in 1995 when we were transferred to Illinois. I got a BS in Information Technology in 1999 and an MBA in 2001. I told my children I may not have been so tough on them about their studies had i known i would ever be back in school. We returned to SC (Greenville) in 2001 where I've worked in the IT career field until leaving my job last December to start Quartermaster Properties with my youngest son. He manages our location in Mt Pleasant and I manage the one in Greenville. My husband and I enjoy horseback riding, golf, scuba diving, ballroom dancing, glider and power plane flying (although one of us does it with white knuckles). Between the 2 of us, we have 6 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 cats that adopted us along the way. I would not take anything for any part of the journey!
